Ray joined IG Wealth Management in 1986 as a Consultant. His work ethic and professionalism helped excel him to various management positions within IG, including Branch Manager in both Calgary and Edmonton for 5 years. He returned to a Consultant role in 2002 where his dedication to clients and their families is the foundation of his practice. He enjoys helping them with all their financial goals.

Ray and his wife Cheryl enjoy spending time on their family owned ranch in Longview, AB. They have 3 daughters and 3 grandchildren.

Shelby Lewis QAFP, RRC

Associate Consultant

Shelby joined IG Wealth Management in 2017 starting as the team's Executive Assistant. She became licensed and stepped into the Associate Consultant role in 2018. Shelby is self-motivated, driven and a hardworking individual who loves helping clients turn their dreams into plans. She obtained her QAFP designation in 2022, and has plans to get her CFP designation. She is a big supporter of Kids Rodeo and is the President of the local non-profit rodeo club in her community FCC. Shelby is also Ray's youngest daughter, and has been born and raised around IG. Her and her husband Zack live on their Ranch in Longview, AB with their two kids.

Cheryl Simundson

Executive Assistant

Cheryl Simundson has been a member of the IG family since 1986, as she is married to lead consultant Ray Simundson. She became the Executive Assistant of the practice over 20 years ago, officially moving into that role after raising their three daughters. Cheryl is an absolute asset to the team and does all the behind the scenes work. Although she has moved to a more part-time role, she continues to be a vital part of ensuring the business runs smoothly.

Cheryl and her husband Ray enjoy spending time on their family Ranch in Longview, AB, where she proudly (and now most often) goes by "Nana."
